Who we are

What we collect

When you ask for an installation estimate we collect your name, mobile number, email address and postcode, together with your answers about your property and bedrooms and any notes you type. We also record the route and estimate we showed you, so that we can honour it.

When you use the site, Cloudflare processes your IP address and browser details to deliver pages securely and to run the Turnstile check that protects the enquiry form from bots. Our own analytics count page views and button clicks without cookies or any identifier that could single you out.

Why we use it

• To assess whether we can help, show you an indicative estimate, call you about it and prepare a written quote. This is necessary to take steps at your request before entering a contract.
• To keep an accurate record of enquiries, quotes and installations, and to run and secure the website. This is our legitimate interest in operating the business.
• To send you marketing, only if you ask us to. We do not send marketing at present and the enquiry form has no marketing option.

Who we share it with

We use Cloudflare to host the site, store enquiries and route incoming email, and Resend to send our confirmation and alert emails from servers in the EU. Both act on our instructions. An engineer reviewing your enquiry sees the technical answers and your postcode. We do not sell your details or share them with advertisers.

How long we keep it

• Enquiries that do not lead to a quote: 12 months after our last contact.
• Quotes, accepted work and installation records: 6 years after completion, for warranty, tax and legal purposes.
• Email delivery logs: 90 days. Database backups: 30 days.

Your rights

You can ask us for a copy of your information, ask us to correct or delete it, restrict or object to how we use it, or ask for it in a portable format. Email hello@cleartemp.co.uk and we will respond within one month. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk.
